Sultan's sire is Laughton Saladin. Saladin has won the King George V cup in both 2001 and 2002 as the top Cleveland Bay stallion and has been awarded a lifetime premium by the Cleveland Bay Horse Society. Sultan's Dam Clydan Andromeda by Wiscombe Arthur is very well-bred and has produced lovely foals. Runswick Sultan is working well under saddle and shows great scope over fences.
