Meet our group of Tide's End Farm horses. They are a wonderful group of horses with great personalities and are well suited to lessons mounted or liiatunmounted. As you can see, we continue to acquire rare Cleveland Bays for use in our riding program. Not only do we find them wonderful movers and teachers, they also afford a special opportunity for people to try this amazing critically endangered breed. With only 548 in the world, they are rare gems indeed!

katieWe have Chakola's Gem and Jewel, full sisters. Gem is a Cleveland Bay mare that is a broodmare/schoolhorse. She has had a foal with Sultan , but presently we find her to be invaluable in our riding program. She is wonderful for adults and children.

Younger sister Jewel is larger at 16'2 and had a huge foal 4 years ago and since has been learning to jump and teach people the basic essentials of being a good and happy rider. Athletic big moving mare that is a pleasure to ride, she allows people to get a feeling of the wonderful Cleveland Bay.

Bourbon 'n Bows is a TB mare that is all bay to fit in with the crowd. She is athletic, elegant and sweet natured. She never raced and is also a wonderful horse to work around. She teaches all levels of riders and everyone loves to just be with this sweet mare.

Kat(Snowy White Socks, a 16'2 TB with very famous grandsires including Dust Commander who won the Kentucky Derby in 1970. She is our foundation broodmare. She has shown in hunters and eventing and has had five  of our foals including Tide's End Intrepid who is newly under saddle and will in Intrepidtime probably teach some lessons. He is still a baby in his head and has the true personality of a Cleveland Bay and is the official greeter in the herd. He will be the first one to the fence when you walk up.

Time Out is a Cleveland Bay/TB who has changed careers from broodmare to lesson and competition horse is now retired. She does enjoy grooming attention from her admirers. A winner as a young horse in hand at many top shows such as Devon, she is a great example of her breeding.

Runswick Sultan, being the king he is, has his own section of the website.
